Royce Is Potty Trained!!! Yippee!!!

We did it!  I almost had a nervous breakdown after the dog ate an accident, but we are all doing well this week.  I started potty training Royce on Monday,  March 15th.   He turned two February 21st.  He did so much better than I thought he would do.  He can be very stubborn and I really didn’t think he would actually sit on the potty for the time it takes to train him, but he did!  His biggest hang up was that he overly held number two.  Thus, creating much discomfort after 24 hours, resulting in him screaming for most of the day.  I really thought I was going to lose it.  I even enjoyed the dentist office for the first time in my life because I got to leave the screaming!  🙂  But, Kevin helped him get it in the right place at the right time.  Now he wants nothing to do with us.  He just gets on the big potty and comes running out telling us “Potty me, potty me”.  It’s so amazing.  It’s always worth it, but it’s kinda like giving birth….. amazing but not the funnest thing to go through.  The cutest part was him running around without anything on the bottom and shooting us with guns.

  3. HI Kelly,

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these pics of the kids. I just can’t believe how big they all have gotten! It’s good to see that all is well with the Jones family.

    I am SO SORRY I missed Hadley’s and Bryson’s birthdays! Please give them both BIG HUGE HUGS from the Swartleys (Seriously, how in the world are YOU the Mother of a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD?!! That is just insanely crazy! ). 😉 I hope both of your sweeties had great celebrations and felt super special on their big days. Tessa is probably SO EXCITED to be next!

    Hugs to all the Jones Family,
    Tracy =)
